Whether we’re in your home or out exploring, you and your kids have the freedom to move, play, show big emotions and simply be together. Don’t worry, we’ll always get the “holiday card” shot, but your session is about connection, not staring at my camera.
I use prompts and easy games to help everyone feel relaxed, and I work hard to not over-direct a moment. Instead of seeking out perfection in your images, we’re getting something so much more — your natural connection and personalities.

Before your photo session, you’ll have access to my Personalized Styling Service. After filling out a quick questionnaire about your personal style and favorite color combos, you’ll be matched with coordinated outfit ideas for your whole family. Use the service for inspiration to shop your own closet, or use the purchase links directly from the styling program to buy your outfits. The choice is yours!
Either way, I love this styling service for taking the pressure off you so you can simply enjoy your session.

Twin cities Family Photography
After our session, I’ll get to work editing with a focus on natural, emotive, oh-so-flattering images. In about 2-3 weeks, you’ll receive your fully-edited gallery slideshow — I cannot wait for you to see your beauty. You’ll have 24 hours to choose which Collection works best for you, and then a full month to place orders and download digitals. Each Collection comes with a varying number of digital images and a print credit to use in my online storefront. I am always here to guide you through the process, but my secure, online ordering system puts all the power in your hands.
The big reveal
I never, ever expect your family to be anything other than who you are. I make that easy by including your kids right away so they know they’re an important part of family photos. One thing I’ve learned in my years of doing this is that I have a way with kids. But I also need you to know: If they’re shy or having a hard time, that is totally okay. I never want you to stress about behavior. I’ve been lucky to photograph a ton of families and am confident I can honestly and beautifully capture your kids and their personalities too.

You and I both know how hard it can be to schedule and prepare for family photos, so I’ve taken out all the guesswork that could get in the way of a great photo session. You can count on me for a detailed Family Prep & Style Guide that walks you through the entire process along with tips for your session I’ve developed over my years of being a photographer (and a mom). My goal with your prep guide is to answer all your questions before you even have them :) You can also expect tailored location scouting and access to my Personalized Styling Service, which takes the guesswork out of choosing coordinated outfits for your photo session.

Ready? Let’s do this. To keep it simple, your proposal includes an easy link to securely sign your Contract and pay your Session Fee. Once that’s done, your spot is saved in my calendar. I’ll take it from here :)

Each of my Collections comes with digitals and a print credit to shop my online storefront. You can expect a high-quality selection of matted and framed prints, luxe albums, and glass photo boxes to help you preserve your images. Trust me, your walls will love you for it.
